MediaFire Brings in the Holiday Cheer! AGAIN

This has been a pretty shitty month.
My main account, the one with all the SD uploads, got slapped with a suspension notice for one of my files, sooo, I think I might just ditch Mediafire altogether. I know from your comments that Rapidshare has a limit (don't remember it getting that bad sheesh), and Bayfiles is inconsistent as fuck. I have no idea why, but it seems like it's the RS episodes that tip them off. Every time. Every. Time.

My plate of chores just increased tenfold, but I'll clear things up. Bluh.

  2. puush.me pro ($15/yr) has infinite storage and 250MB max per file. I haven't had any of them take down a file of mine.

If worse comes to worse, you could zip password the video files or someone could write a script to XOR file contents back and forth so they don't get detected.

  3. You may want to consider more robust ways of sharing media. For example, you might want to create a torrent, and then share it initially through tor (but only initially, as tor is not to be used for general torrenting). That would give you anonymity while sharing, and then give you freedom to stop hosting once peers start seeding. As for making collections for people to browse (think a tracker), it would be fairly simple to make a rss feed with the magnet links to the torrents, and host it on a free site (that you only administrate/update through tor). That way you are untraceable, and your content can't be taken down.

  4. Scratch uploading the torrent via tor, bad idea. It seems to much more secure to upload via vpn (ie, http://www.anonyseedbox.com/). You do have to pay for them though... good news is they are soooooo cheap.

  7. These sites are good:
https://www.1fichier.com/en/ (90 day retention between downloads. 10gb per file)
http://jumbofiles.com (30 day retention between downloads. 1gb per file. no captchas or waits)

Here's a chart that compares more (with info): docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Au0BZJzYHcuNdE9sNGJhbGVPMGxNTmRNWTlzdVhmaGc

Also, thanks for your work, and I'd like to request files in .mp4 instead of .mkv because they're a lot easier to work with and more compatible, for example you can play them back on Xbox 360s, and edit them in video editors and make gifs a lot easier.

  8. You could give Netload a shot. It's capped to I believe 300kb/s free speed but for small episodes such as yours, it should be alright.

    1. i never get over 3kbps with netload, it usually times out and i need to wait another hour to download... i think it depends where you are located if you get decent speeds or just crap

  9. The sites used by icefilms.info are pretty great and support streaming
billionupload, 180upload and movreel are what they use (billionuploads.com 180upload.com http://movreel.com)

The speeds often reach 1mbps, and the stuff seems to stay up pretty consistently

  10. ge.tt is everything mediafire used to be. You dont even need an account to upload there.
Alternatively you could start torrenting. Torrents are grand.

  11. Also Rapidshare has a limit to how many files can be downloaded on an account. Been trying to download the Regular Show X-Mas special parts in HD since you put them up but keeps telling me your account has hit it's limit.
